FBI should probe 'potential' Liz Cheney 'witness tampering' in Jan 6 matter

That's the crime here???? Provide a list of lawyers that would accept a payment plan. Loudermilk is shitting you.
He’s shitting me by taking a quote from her own book???

By telling you some crime was committed that needs investigation.
he's just laying out the facts of what happened.

the law is the law, the facts broke that law

Contacting a witness and getting her to change her testimony is witness tampering
The report said the witness contacted Cheney because the witness wanted to change her testimony.

So it's against the law to provide a list of lawyers that accepts a payment plan? Seriously dude?

actually that is not what the report says., It says that Liz Cheney had a third party, Ms. Griffen, reach out first

Alyssa Farah Griffin Backchanneled with Vice Chair Liz Cheney to Help Hutchinson Change her Story For nearly a month, Farah Griffin acted as an intermediary between Vice Chair Cheney and the Select Committee’s star witness, Hutchinson. As an intermediary, Farah Griffin helped coordinate Hutchinson’s third transcribed interview—without the knowledge of Hutchinson’s attorney, Stefan Passantino.75 In a television panel with a member of the Select Committee— Representative Raskin—a year following the end of the Select Committee, Hutchinson freely stated that she had “backchanneled for a third interview without my former attorney’s knowledge at the time, with one of my good friends, Alyssa Farah Griffin.”76 At this time, Farah Griffin and Hutchinson discussed the optics of Hutchinson leaking “new information” to the press instead of testifying directly to the Select Committee.77 Hutchinson’s messages indicate that she and Farah Griffin colluded to create a false story about why Hutchinson needed to do a third transcribed interview for the Select Committee to convince her attorney, Passantino

In her May 17, 2021, transcribed interview, Hutchinson testified to a series of uncorroborated and unverified stories that conveniently fit the Select Committee’s anti-Trump narrative. Despite already testifying to the Select Committee twice, Hutchinson never previously mentioned this “new information.”

The Subcommittee was only able to obtain a limited number of text messages from Hutchinson and Farah Griffin, but Representative Cheney’s influence on Hutchinson is apparent from that point forward by her dramatic change in testimony and eventual claims against President Trump using second- and thirdhand accounts. For example, Hutchinson claimed that White House Deputy Chief of Staff Anthony Ornato (“Ornato”) told her that Trump lunged towards the driver of his car after Trump’s request to go to the Capitol was denied. This story has never been corroborated and was directly refuted by both United States Secret Service (“USSS”) agents in the vehicle with President Trump that day, and Ornato himself.

no it's against the law to contact a known represented witness and tamper with them.

Selecting and Inviting WitnessesTo testify, a witness must be invited by a committee. Before officially inviting a witness, committee staff identify and often interview prospective witnesses. Committees consider peoplefrom different backgrounds, including individuals from the executive branch, state and localgovernments, academia, business, and interest groups as well as other private citizens. Acommittee may invite as many witnesses as it chooses and may schedule multiple days ofhearings.

Nothing in that post says that it was Cheney who initiated contact.

other then when it highlights that Liz had Griffin bankchannel with the witness

and you know, who cares? Liz didn't have to initate the contact to tamper with the witness.

when she got the witness to change her testimony and lie under oath
Bullshit. If that were the case they would come after Hutchinson. But they ain't.

why would Congress go after her? She was the witness, not the member of Congress that tampered with her testimony.

what a weird post

Griffin was the backchannel, but it doesn't say Cheney initiated contact.

But it's still not witness tampering.

Hutchinson's Attorney:
“Ms. Hutchinson made the independent decision to part ways with her Trump-funded lawyer, freeing her to provide candid, truthful, and honorable testimony to the January 6th Committee about the attack on the Capitol, alongside dozens of Republican witnesses and law enforcement officers,” he said. “Despite baseless attacks by men with their own agendas to discredit her, Ms. Hutchinson stands by her testimony and remains committed to the truth and accountability.”

Correct Liz had Griffin act as a bankchannel before directly interacting with the witness, and getting her to change her testimony.

Yes, getting a witness to change their testimony is tampering.

Odd that you think that's ok
