FBI opens investigation into Letitia James

No, what I said was that Trump paid the loan back…not that he was making payments still

Weird you don’t know the difference
So you can steal from someone as long as you eventually give it back.

Okay.

No, Trump called numerous witnesses but they weren’t very credible.

You’re confusing trials.
You are confused... this is the case James brought about real-estate... Ironic don't ya think?....

So did James.

I guess that makes this a hoax.
Wow, is Letitia James trying to drum up support in Times Square?

Okay.
Trump didn’t steal from the bank, they testified at the trial to that

That’s not the case with your girl

Exactly what Trump was found guilty of doing. Lying about his financial status.

So you expect James to be found guilty as well. Me too.

Her bigger crimes appears to be filing fraudulent Powers of Attorney in at least two states, with the intent of defrauding financial institutions and tax authorities. Those are BIG federal crimes with BIG prison sentences.

Here's one of the fake POAs attempting to defraud the tax authorities of the state of Virginia.

What did she steal from the government exactly?

Trump lied to the banks. That’s fraud.
She allegedly committed wire fraud and bank fraud.

Virginia Property (2023): James is alleged to have declared a Norfolk, Virginia, home as her “principal residence” on mortgage documents, potentially to obtain better loan terms. However, as New York’s Attorney General, she is legally required to reside in New York. Neighbors reportedly stated they had never seen her at the Virginia property, which is occupied by her niece.

Brooklyn Property (2001): James allegedly misrepresented the number of units in a Brooklyn brownstone she owns, listing it as a four-unit property instead of five. This discrepancy could affect mortgage eligibility and terms.

Just two parties playing petty politics.

Great. You found the civil case for which Trump was fined. In your view, fraud is fraud. Letitia James has a pending CRIMINAL investigation for fraud. How does a prosecuting attorney gets into a situation where the allegations are that they faked a marriage for an out of state residence while they are supposed to have primary residence domiciled in the locale where they are public servant?

Is she entitled to be above the law?

The only thing she has exposure on is the primary residence issue. Everything else is decades old and well beyond the statute of limitations.

But that one thing looks pretty bad. Probably fraud.

I think Trump should have been criminally charged.

So it’s not about the law. It’s about attacking enemies with the government.

She has responded. It’s weak but not delusional.
You do realize that all the charges against Trump were outside the SOL. She made it tied to another crime to make them felonies and allowed to be prosecuted. If the DOJ takes the same route, all the refinancing for the 5-unit place and the other her dad signed as her husband can come into play. Tish invented the playbook that the feds could now use to convict her. That may the beauty of all of this.

You morons can't keep your cases straight. You're very confused.

She is definitely a fraud in the eyes of public opinion. She has no credibility to enforce the law.

No one has a defense or justification for Letitia James that does not begin with, “But Trump…”. Letitia James said “No one is above the law”.

Yes we get you think he should, it’s just the law didn’t allow for it

Unlike with your friend in NY

Funny how that works? She is a hypocrite.

Yes. Explain the difference.
She's going to be charged with criminal fraud.

She charge Trump with violation of a civil executive law that even the Appellate judges called it's application to Trump novel and troubling.

Oh please stop with the “decades old” and statute of limitations bullshit. You people pull out all the stops when it comes to Conservatives being nominated to Judicial positions. Similarly, a prosecuting attorney needs to be held to standards to uphold their credibility enforcing the law. The allegations and supporting evidence alone make her look foolish for ever having uttered the words, “No one is above the law.”

I don’t think she will go to prison but she is done as a prosecutor. I also don’t think Democrats will cease using government and courts as weapons to after political enemies.
