Why would Gronk have opened the door for anyone on this list?

Most of them don't even play TE and the ones that do maybe Schultz plays like Gronk? That said Gronk wasn't the first big fast TE to play in the NFL nor was he the first white dude to play in the NFL. So what would have stopped TJ/JJ Watt from playing in the NFL if Gronk never existed? Were teams not going to want an elite edge rusher because a Gronk wasnt in the league? Were teams going to not want a good center?

It is like slavery. These guys get hurt and put out to pasture. Not all of them get rich. The average time in the NFL is 4 years. Sure the QB's get paid a lot but not all of them do.

League minimum is 660k a year. The average college grad gets 55k a year starting out. That's over a decade's work of salary per year...... Sign me up for that kind of "slavery".
