What are you favorite songs that seemed to have a strong message the singer/band was trying to convey ?

It seems some of my favorite songs seem to be conveying a strong message the singer/band is trying to get across. Here is my list of songs:

Want to see the strongest messaged break up song? Eddie Veddar had recently gotten divorced from the love of his life and when she left, his "world was tattooed in black. Tattooed all that i see, all that I am, all that ill ever be":. Later he goes on to say this haunting line... "I know someday youll have a beautiful life, I know youll be a star... in somebody elses sky, but why, why cant it be in mine?"

You will never in your life see a more emotionally attached performance than this one. If you dont watch start to finish, you are missing out on a very special performance.

I always loved Imagine by John Lennon.

The message in the song is a Communist Manifesto sugar coated as Lennon would say, though he wasn't a Communist...more a dreamer of socialism. A socialism I myself often dream about could one day happen in America. I listened to this song as a kid and I agreed with the message. I thought it was one of the most brilliant songs ever written. I have listened to this song so many times in my life and wished one day America could be like as John Lennon envisioned. I am a dreamer too John Lennon and no your not the only one.
