When I tell people I have been to Walmart twice in the past 25 years they look at me like I'm crazy. I don't understand the dependence on this retailer. I also have a friend who has worked at one for the past 8 years, and she tells me about how things work there. I am really impressed with how they treat their employees in regards to time off, you can take extra time at lunch, you can be late up to like 10 minutes for the start of your shift with no penalties, and you build up PTO time, where you can use it to leave early or call off from work with no penalties.

Our Walmart Supercenter closes at 2300 and reopens at 0600 every day.

I don't know, if I was a Walmart manager, knew that the EBT cards had not been recharged, and saw a angry crowd gathering at 0600 I might not reopen either.
