Ex-KKK Leader Running as Republican for Office in Georgia

Naw, no evidence to support that stupidity

Demofks are and have always been kkk.
Q: Is there a third Ku Klux Klan?
Yes. The third Ku Klux Klan was born after the Second World War. It still exists, and it was mostly a response to desegregation and the Civil Rights movement.

Deny all you want.
The original KKK ended.
The 3rd KKK ^^^^^^^^ is still active and represents the (R) platform very nicely.

You cant prove that statement either.

Any proof of your statement or is this just an opinion you made up because of your bias?

You made the claim and know it can not be proven since it is not general knowledge to the public who is and is not a member of the KKK. Meaning you LIED.

The Ku Klux Klan has not existed in any meaningful sense since some time in the late 1980s.

There was a case, back then, wherein a young black man was lynched, and his mother successfully sued the KKK for wrongful death and won a huge judgement. When it came time to collect on that judgement, the only asset that could be found, and identified as belonging to the KKK was an old warehouse which the KKK used as its headquarters. The deed to that warehouse was given to the mother.

Since then, there have been several small, insignificant groups, making various claims to the Ku Klux Klan name and heritage, but all together, they don't add up to anything close to what the KKK ever was when it existed as a coherent group.

So, it is not possible, and hasn't been since the demise of the KKK in the 1980s for anyone to be a member of the KKK. At most one could be a member of one of these small splinter groups claiming some connection to the KKK.

Are you going to now deny that the KKK went through 3 Eras.
The original KKK is dead.

The KKK is currently in the 3rd Era.

Strange...he didn't have to run as a republican. He could have stayed independent, or libertarian, or democrat.

But he saw his best chance to get elected as a republican.

So instead of whining like babies and berating other posters, maybe you guys should go to the Republican Klansman and ask HIM why he perceives the republican voters as willing to vote for him. Seems to me he was the one who decided that's where the racists are.

is running in 2022 for a seat on the Lumpkin County Board of Commissioners in Georgia.

One of five Commissioners in a county of under forty thousand people. That's a tiny frog in a damned small pond. He's not exactly going to be one of one hundred most powerful people in the USA like Robert Byrd was. Of course, that's assuming he will even manage to get elected.

Your own link denies it.

It shows the Third Era as having ended in 1979.

History shows that something still existed, almost a decade later, for Beulah Mae Donald to successfully sue what was left of it into bankruptcy for murdering her son, but perhaps by that time, the KKK was essentially extinct anyway.

He is NOT a klansman as the poster clearly indicated. Now unless you want to INSIST once one always one? Then we shall discuss Byrd again.

Sure. Sure he isn't. Totally reformed.

Thinks he found a home in the gop. So instead of whining all over this thread at anonymous people, maybe go ask this retard why he thinks the GOP is where he will get his votes
