Ex-KKK Leader Running as Republican for Office in Georgia

No I'm not. For now I can at least conclude that the Klan was and is extreme rightists. And I suppose there would be extreme rightists in both parties.

Maybe we should start by trying define 'extreme rightist'?

There's very little understanding of what makes up either the extreme right or extreme left on this forum. Only a few who appear to be politically astute have gotten it right.

Unfortunately, both sides appear to want to label the other side as commies/fascists and that's just plain wrong.

So I'm left with having to judge the credibility of the messenger.

And then there's the screeching pissant bripat who does damage to anybody's message!
I'll just discount that and it's ilk to representing neither side. It's just childish shit that can't carry any weight in anybody's best interests.

The entertainment factor for the 13 to 18 age group!
The problem with that is that in the post ACW South, the KKK weren’t extremists. The majority of people resented the union occupation, the carpetbaggers who came to feed off the economic misery of the southern states and the fact that not only didn’t blacks have to kowtow to them, but were getting elected to positions of power. In those days the KKK had a real and diverse power base. It’s supporters overturned the reconstruction efforts of the victorious Union.

He need only mimic the hate speech employed by trump to win the unanimous approval of the trump Nazis. November 2022 will see the U.S. democracy being replaced by trump's fascism.

.
What hate speech is that?

An interesting project would be in looking for members who covertly support the Klan and demonstrate that by their absence and lack of an opinion.

Anybody feel like they need to offer the disclaimer?
That's asinine. People don't obsessively read USMB. But going by your "logic", YOU supported the Klan before November 26 of last year, because you never posted an opinion before that date.

If I remember the research I did a while ago, there are fewer than five thousand Klan members in the entire USA. They have no support from anybody.

Oh, so what did they represent?
Was the Klan not racist from their beginning? If not then what were thy founded upon?

You're showing a great deal of interest in pursuing the topic with me, so let's get into it. I can dig up facts as well as anybody and so I won't be making it easy for anybody who cares to debate some substance.

Most conservatives have no interest in discussing the topic, especially with a douchebag like you.

Why don't we discuss how left-wingers all covered up the holocaust in the USSR, China and Cambodia?

I have no interest in playing spam games with you. I've learned that never gets me anywhere.
Yes, you want conservatives to concede all your points before the discussion even begins. That shows what a great guy you are.

Robert bird left the KKK in like 1949. Now half the Republican party is KKK.... You brainwashed functional idiots seem to have no concept of time lol. Tell us how the Democrats are still the slave owners.
Wow! You laid out some wild accusations there, sonny. Care to back up your, "Now half the republican party is KKK"? Or, are you just lying?
Link? Or, Lie?

Now, for Robert Byrd, first elected to the West Virginia state senate in 1950. And, you say he "left the KKK in like 1949."
My. my, just how convenient is that, you stupid fuck?

Anyone bookmark this thread yet? Not that leftists ever learn, but it's fun to watch them scatter like cockroaches when the lights are turned on.

Interesting! But is that true?
Or is it the number who are overtly claiming to be Klan members? How many more do you think are secretly Klan members?

That's a trick question. Here's my guess at some possible answers:

1. tens of thousands more.
2. No more, they're not afraid to admit to being Klan
3. rage.
4. you don't know.

I can't accept that as fact. You would have to furnish some credible evidence. The reason why I hesitate is because you appear to be trying to attach a 'socialist' label to fascism.
huh? The National Socialist party was the actual name of what we shorten to NAZI party.

That’s fact

I can't argue that the extreme rightists weren't members of the D party or the R party, or both?
they weren’t extreme rightist. They were totalitarian leftist that longed for the days of authoritarian control.
