Democrats call this "international diplomacy". Like when Brandon suspends sanctions on Iran (with the resultant influx of billions of dollars to be used for international terrorism), or the 6 month suspension of sanctions on Maduro, or pulling out of AFG without advance warning to our allies who were also involved, or the sanctions imposed on Putin two years ago which would prevent Russia from attacking Ukraine, or the publicly declared advice to Netanyahu re Gaza... .
The difference is, Trump's version of diplomacy seems to have worked. The issue: which is more important, perception or effectiveness?
