Chelseas new owner Todd Boehly has spaffed a billion pounds on players but they are no better than the day he bought the club.

They also own Liverpool and Man Utd the big names. The Glazers at United are despised by supporters who object to foreign owners taking lrge sums of cash out of a club that they have run badly.

Evertons owners already own clubs in other countries and are not popular in any of them. They will not be welcomed on Merseyside unless they spend large sums of cash. But that isnt the point of it all. Everton fans will want to see Everton prioritised and not Standard Liege.

FSG has run the club pretty well. They’ve certainly made some mistakes, ie the Super League. But they haven’t taken a dime out of the club.

No. the fans who were members owned 1 share each. They voted to give them the club.
They then invested 2m in their own business and put all further money in at 7%.
