Just limiting my response to this particular thing, isn't it kind of a coincidence that California's governor race had two Republicans looking like the general election will be just between them as the democrats were dividing the vote to not even be in the general election and then all of a sudden this happens, thinning the democrat field? They purposely threw their own overboard in order to not get shut out of the general election. Either Swalwell was guilty and democrats did this to win in November or maybe Swalwell isn't even really guilty at all but democrats still needed to thin the field.
