Congressman Eric Swalwell’s abrupt departure from the race for California governor has upended the field, with a new poll placing two Republicans at the top alongside one Democrat, and several long-shot candidates suddenly seeing their chances improve.
The survey, commissioned by Nexstar Media Group and conducted by Emerson College Polling April 14–15, shows conservative commentator Steve Hilton leading all candidates with 17%, followed by Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco, also a Republican, and billionaire activist Tom Steyer, a Democrat, tied at 14%.
At least Porter is falling.....I suspect this is the desired results the dems were hoping for.
Sort of funny as it's claimed Porter got the ball rolling on Swalwell.
