Enhanced Video/Pretti

/----/ I don't know about you, but if a police officer or Fed agent orders me to stand back, I stand back. I don't argue, I don't push back, and I do as I'm told. And yes, I've been to protests in my younger days.

I bet you would do the same. That's why you and I are alive and Pretti and Good aren't.

Yet they didn't. The video shows Pretti (when approached by ICE officers) on the sidewalk, they walked up to HIM and shoved HIM.

WW

He didn't "insert himself". He was filming ICE in public.

He was helping a woman move AWAY from ICE. ICE then followed them across the street.

Here murderer was charged and convicted.

Do you support the same process for the officers that shot Pretti? Evidence presented in court, in context (not little snippets), a momenet by moment review of the whole situation, physical evidence presented, video evidence presented, testimony by witnesses, ballistics evidence, autopsy report, testimony by experts (for an against) the officer compliance with use of leathal force laws and policy.

Then let a jury decide, just like they did with Laken Riley.

A judge had to order the DOJ/DHS/FBI to preserve evidence.

WW

Moment by moment, go look here. A person just filming the situation would just be filming, like the person in the pink/red coat.

Right here is where he gets directly involved:

Laken Riley was jogging in a park, raped and murdered. You want to pass off that Pretti happened the very same way. It didn't. He was armed, he interfered in an active police situation.

Honey child you really, really need a heating pad and some Midol.
Laken Riley's murderer was charged and convicted. Alex Pretti's killer is getting a bonus. THERE IS NOT COMPARISON. You cant undue murder. You can only apply justice for it. There were around 15,000 murders in the US last year. 15,000. A few dozen by illegal aliens. Right wing nuts are picking and choosing which one's get justice. NO ONE was opposing justice for Laken. No one. You nuts are opposing justice for a murdered son.

To your last part: of course I do. Yes. I'm not arguing here that the officers handled the situation perfectly or even correctly. Maybe they didn't, in which case, justice should follow.

I'm arguing that sympathy for Pretti is limited because, unlike the woman I mentioned who WERE just living their lives and got murdered for no reason, Pretti made one disastrous decision after another.

What is happening there is an assault of a woman who is out of the way but had a whistle that the agent didnt like. The agent crossed the street to engage her and pushed her down illegally. That is assault. He committed a crime when he lost his cool. Then he got so pissed with a woman on the ground and a man trying to help her up that he started spraying them with mace. Alex put his hands up and turned his back. The agent continued to spray them. Out of the way over to the side with no purpose not near any operation. Then the agent started to wrestle Alex to the ground for no reason and was joined by other officers. He is subsequently murdered, unarmed, on his knees, having punched no one, having kicked no one, having pushed no one, having never attempting to handle his weapon. He was murdered. Point blank executed by the same out of control agent who assaulted the woman and Alex.

Ripley's murder was tragic, your attempt to exploit it is - unsavory.

Then join us in calling for the evidence to be reviewed in public, ALL the evidence.

There should not be a need for a judge to have to order DOJ/DHS/FBI to preserve evidence.

A man was shot and killed by federal officers excercsising his 1st Amentment and 2nd Amendment rights in violation of the 4th Amendment (right to trial).

Okay, possibly. I'm not arguing that it's not.

Then he got so pissed with a woman on the ground and a man trying to help her up that he started spraying them with mace.

Maybe, we will see. But Pretti DID insert himself here. He wasn't just filming at this point....and he was armed

hen he got so pissed with a woman on the ground and a man trying to help her up that he started spraying them with mace.

Maybe, but again we don't know. And none of this negates the fact that, unlike the women I mentioned before, Pretti INSERTED HIMSELF in police action....while armed.

I'm not going to answer the rest because it's just another PMS spiral.

There was not a need in the first place. No one was going to destroy evidence.

Then "join us"....no. Your "us" includes posters in this thread likening this to Jewish people getting shot but the German Nazis. It includes the gov of MN likening this to Anne Frank....so bad the Holocaust Museum expressed disgust.

Did all of that occour before or after he was disarmed then shot in the back of the head?
Before in this video. Its hard to see if he made a furtive movement or tried to grab an agents gun that would have allowed deadly force. At this point we dont know

Don't talk to me about unsavory when your people called the ICE situation like Anne Frank.

Yep. Your question is the right one. He reached toward his back AFTER being shot in reaction to being shot in the back. He never reached for ANYTHING before. He had his phone in his hand the entire time until he was shot. There was never a time when he reached for anything.

He inserted himself in a police situation, which makes him distinctly UNLIKE Jews being dragged from their homes, shot in the head, and dumped in mass graves BECAUSE THEY ARE JEWISH

Remember when you got your first period and made that comparison?

Ya there was, it's called the 1st Amendment.

I never compared Pretti getting shot to Anne Frank.

I stick to mischaracterization about the event.

This is a good synopsis with video by Liz Wheeler. I think the video shows Pretti reaching with his right hand and getting something from his hip or pocket. He had already been disarmed but it looked like he was reaching for another weapon and there is something in his hand. Maybe not a gun but in the split second he was shot.

How many agents were holding him down? I watch lots of cop videos. It usually takes two cops to handcuff a suspect. Is Liz, Neocon, Wheeler trying to say that 10 agents weren't able to cuff Pretti?

And if Pretti's actions were a clear and present danger why did only one agent empty his gun into Pretti's back and not all 10 agents? Everyone had eyes on Pretti at that moment.

Sorry Liz, there's no whitewashing this one.

Correct.

However in this case he was shot for filming ICE agents and attempting to assist a woman which pissed off ICE.

Then they shot him 10 times in the back after they had removed his firearm from his rear holster never having even attempted to reach for it.

OMG you need the Midol too apparently. Just to start, he was not "shot for filming ICE agents".....are you okay?

What on earth are you talking about. Seriously, what

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or
prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of
the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the
Government for a redress of grievances."

Right to peacefully assemble (which includes filming ICE in public) and to petition the government for redress of grievances (by collecting video evidence of their activities).
