Elon Musk's "DOGE" Being Sued - Three Separate Lawsuits

That's actually perfect. It will fast track a SCOTUS hearing That will only turn out one way..... With the very obvious answer that the executive branch has every right to examine the books. There's no way Trump and Musk did not know this was coming and probably planned for it well ahead.

This is a massive public relations campaign for the Republicans.

I thought the very same thing. Yes, let's fast track all of this.

You mean "sue" DOGE. :)
And the states are gonna win. Because ultimately, the power of the purse is in the hands of Congress.
Not the people from DOGE..who were elected...by no one. :)
The states have no standing. This isn't going anywhere.

DOGE is illegal and unnecessary. If the supreme court votes 9-0 for an unelected man to ignore the Constitution, then the entire Supreme court needs to be impeached.
How is the DOGE unconstitutional?

Cutting fat is one thing. There's plenty of fat to cut, and the voters will decide if it gets cut too much.

Gaining outside access to Americans' personal information is another. While the intent here may be altrustic, there are plenty of logical reasons not to trust either Trump or Musk.

When one end has too much power, bad stuff usually ensues. It's a shame the country doesn't care enough to prevent that.
But The Patriot Act was pretty cool, huh, MacBaby? :rolleyes-41:

How is the DOGE unconstitutional?
Figure it out. Musk is unelected and he's shutting down agencies started by Congress. He's trying to stop money that was already appropriated. He's firing people without the authority to do so. Unconstitutional.

What government agency has Musk shut down?

Fuck that...you explain it. You saying "it's unconstitutional" doesn't mean shit.

There's nothing to win.....
You can't stop the executive branch from examining the books. This will go SCOTUS and I would look for a nine-zlip on this one.

The states aren't suing because they're being harmed their sowing to prevent an examination of the books. That's not going to fly.

I'm not. The states can't show how they have been harmed.

Well they don't want to show how they've been harmed.... If simply examining the books causes them harm that's because they need to be prosecuted for crimes. How much you want to bet the AG's phones were blowing up with calls from federal politicians?

Fuck that...you explain it. You saying "it's unconstitutional" doesn't mean shit.

That's the last cry of a lost cause.

Even the court stays that have been put on are very tentative and only temporary. My guess is they're trying to buy time so they can go in and scrub some stuff before it gets seen.

That's why Musk has coders going in and not accountants. You can't scrub something like that without leaving a massive trail of code behind giving away what you've done.

Except DOGE isn't part of the Executive branch. It is a made up committee staffed by appointees who were not elected. Which is what the SC will hang on the decision.
And yes, I expect it will be 9-0..in favor of the plaintiffs. :)

Wrong, again, you liar.

DOGE is indeed a part of the Executive Branch.

Your ignorance and your hostility to actual facts are astounding.
