I doubt it. People will tire of the overreach. They already are. Again, you can get all just and righteous and swing after the low hanging fruit to build outrage among the faithful..but it won't do any good in the long run.

Hard to say which way it will go without knowing what information they are actually accessing is. The government routinely uses private contractors so I don't think "elected by no one" really is an issue.

Within certain parameters, the President does the spending.

In doing so, the President has a by God and by law duty (it’s in the Oath of Office, as a matter of fact), to perform his duties to the best of his ability. He EXECUTES the law by administering the law.

It follows (in fact and logic) that he also has the responsibility to make sure that the things for which Congress has authorized spending aren’t permitted to be damaged by waste, fraud or criminal behavior.

Any President worth his salt should be striving — just as vigorously as President Trump is striving, now — to investigate and prevent fraud.

DOGE is looking at the malfeasance of monies already spent, they are in no way attempting to disrupt the 'power of the purse', simply demonstrating what a pitiful job Congress has done with our money. This whole thing is an internal matter confined solely within the executive and well within all Constitutional constraints. These frivolous lawsuits are merely a delaying tactic.

The eel on musky is a selective endowment recipient of approximately six billion in taxpayer dollars to perpetuate the pussified method of launching payloads into space with fossil fuels .

The tax dollars of us citizens are used to prop up corporations that receive gratuity and then disavow , as fluff , the long term interests in equity of those whose contributions brought projects to fruition .

No it isn't...... It's questionable as to whether or not an accounting firm would be able to dig this stuff up. They aren't just looking at the numbers they're looking at the coding.
