I also believe racism is 100% wrong, but don't think people should lose their jobs over it.

Especially some kid who is just beginning his life.

Harsh punishment? Maybe. We could think of something better than ruining his future.

I would wager he already regrets those statements and wishes he never made them.

Freedom of speech is not just the opportunity to say something, but also the opportunity to be heard. Capitalism creates such a huge flow of information noise and lies that even the most honest and truthful voices are drowned in it. In essence, we are all deprived of freedom of speech.
