There's a point to this.

If the Left really cared about poor countries, why do they encourage the best from those poor countries to come here instead of staying there and fixing their own countries?

So, the law is being exploited at best. That need to end. The H-1B visa crowd can go back home.

I'd rather keep the H1B and enforce the stipulations, then get rid of every other kind of immigration. All of it. At least that way we'd be getting people we want or even need.

President-elect Trump told The Post Saturday he supports immigration visas for highly skilled workers, appearing to side with Elon Musk in the roiling intra-MAGA debate on the issue.

“I’ve always liked the visas, I have always been in favor of the visas. That’s why we have them,” Trump said by phone, referring to the H-1B program, which permits companies to hire foreign workers in specialty occupations.

“I have many H-1B visas on my properties. I’ve been a believer in H-1B. I have used it many times. It’s a great program,” added Trump, who restricted access to foreign worker visas in his first administration and has been critical of the program in the past.

I agree with Elon Musk on the issue, and I can't stand Laura Loomer, but Loomer is dead right about Musk being a hypocrite.



For those not following the drama on Twitter, Musk stripped Loomer of her status as both Musk and Vivek came out in support of hiring foreign nationals via the H-1B process. Loomer and other pro-MAGA accounts blasted them both for doing so.

The thing about MAGA embracing the techno broligarchs is that deep down, the broligarchs are pro- immigration. And MAGA is not.

Oligarchs are gonna Oligarch. Are there actually people who don’t know that?

They are wrong on the issue, and we have no problems telling them that.

I know it must shock you. You thought MAGA was all bought and paid for. That all we did was follow whatever Trump or Elon said without question. Nope. If they suggest something dumb, we tell them. Unlike Democrats, they seem to actually listen and correct course. Something Dems cannot ever do.
