I have no opinion on the subject. I only researched the information that addressed the statement youtio made.

I do believe that being the most educated country in the world is a goal we should try to achieve, given that education (knowledge) is the key to success. We were #1 in the world 50 years ago and we have dropped down to #13 and that is a negative that we are starting to suffer from that I do not like.

In addition, there was a time in the past that working 1 job was sufficient to pay your bills. Nowadays, people have to work 2-3 jobs to make ends meet and that is not something that has happened recently but is a trend down that started some 30-50 years ago and it has to do with the income inequality that has been occurring for decades. Fewer and fewer people are making a living as the money is going to make the rich get richer.

This is all a trend that is going to end very badly for us. We are already in bad shape and there seems to be nothing "in the works" that will change that down spiral. Trump getting elected in 2016 was also a catalyst for the situation to worsen and him being reelected could mean the breakdown point for this trend could be seen in these next 4 years.

"We have to be a lot more productive, workforce participation has to rise from its all-time modern lows," Mr Bush told the editors of the New Hampshire Union Leader in an interview that was broadcast online. "It means that people need to work longer hours and, through their productivity, gain more income for their families. That's the only way we're going to get out of this rut that we're in."

Jeb Bush's remarks also harken back to a controversial comment made by his brother, George W Bush, in January 2005.

"You work three jobs?" then-President Bush asked, external a divorced mother of three in Nebraska during a town hall forum. "Uniquely American, isn't it? I mean, that is fantastic that you're doing that. Get any sleep?"
