If Donnie wins the popular vote but loses the EC, expect a wholesale change in opinions of the EC.

/---/ Actually we accept the EC results - it's Libtards who want to change the rules so they win.

The alternative is those tiny unpopulated states having more power than states with 40 times their population

Yeah, it's awful when 3 EV is more than 55 EV........

Nope. One person, one vote.

EC was implemented to placate states who's economies depended on slavery.

One person, one vote.

Exactly what that map shows.

and California, New York, Texas, and Florida would make all the decisions.
Popular vote. Populous places will have influence.

You know why?

That's where most of the population is!

So, screw the other 46 states?

Sorry, they have a voice too.

Of course they do. One vote for every person. Why should they count for more just because nobody wants to live in their crappy states?

You're fine with California and New York deciding the presidency, forever?

What color is your 'democratic' prayer rug?

Navy Blue, robins egg blue, sky blue?

/----/ Here, I corrected it for you. No need to thank me.
EC was implemented to placate states who's economies depended on agriculture
Oh! Look kids! Revisionist history!
/----/ "Oh! Look kids! Revisionist history!"
At the time of the Constitution, ALL 13 colonies allowed slavery, so EC was implemented to placate states whose economies depended on agriculture Vermont was the first state to ban slavery. It did so in 1777.

Nice try, swing and a miss though. Their economies depended on slaves to run their agricultural businesses.

Again, and I'll type slow so you can follow. ALL of the 13 colonies had slavery at the time the EC was created. The concern was the industrial North would run roughshod over the less populated Southern agricultural states. And yes, there was the compromise that each Black would be counted as 3/5 a person. And yes the South was more dependant on slave labor than the North. And yes, slavery was a factor to get the Southern Democrats to go along. But it is not a clear cut answer like you pretend.

That's already a known. But the truth is, its urban versus rural. And all the degrees in between.
