Scotland and Wales are having elections for their governments. To form a government, the party with the most seats from the election requires 65 seats for the majority. SNP got 58 so they can team up (coalition) with another party to get over the threshold. They did that with the Greens but I think that kinda went tits up sometime in 2024 -Are these local races or Parliamentary races?
SNP is the middle belt of Scotland, the shit rough area of Scotland.
Same state of affairs in Wales. Plaid Cymru got 43 of the required 49 seats. Teaming up with the Greens and Lib Dems still wouldn't achieve enough. I reckon they'll have to ask Labour, I can't see them asking the Tories or Reform. Interesting that the Right Wing vote (Reform and the Tories) is greater than Plain Cymru.
For Reform/Tories to win Parliament and the Welsh parliament, they need to merge or scrap the Tories. The system lets the Lefties in that have historically caused a calamity. If anyone thinks the Tories were bad, they had/have their eyes shut when Labour were/are in (worded to include Blair, Brown, and Starmer).
