I think we’re too far gone as a nation. I don’t disagree with you on having more parties, we’d have to change the cotus to enact a popular vote, but I think we as a people would have to become MUCH less divided for it to ever work.

Yep, the Constitution would need to be changed.

And that change would change the divide. The divide has been manufactured by the rich. It keeps people focused on things other than the rich controlling the country.

Divide will always exist, but politicians will find they have to have SUBSTANCE rather than silly policies. Which will move the country away from that extremism that is becoming worse and worse in the social media age.
