“Education”??? Insidious And Evil!

The purpose and effect of this thread is to explain how the Left/communists/Democrats/AmericaHaters use slanted information/education to undermine our nation.

One can see how truth causes those in the Left's thrall to become incensed.

I am truly impressed by your family success.....but, focus like a laser, what does that have to do with this:

Either I am correct about how and why the government schooling system turns out tons of anti-Americans, students who hate their country, or America is worthy of being hated by her sons and dauthers.
Pay no attention to the Swabbie

He’s getting cranky in his old age

What he could have said was “I agree with your complaints, but not all the kids are being ruined by the liberal education system. Mine turned out ok”

But he’s looking for a food fight instead of a real discussion

He's a bitter, nasty old man who waves his cane and screams at people, but doesn't understand why his relatives never call.

quite perceptive

And now for the denouement....

It is, to coin a phrase, "self-evident" that the real purpose of government schooling is not education, but indoctrination....and it is far too successful.

i have shown how the purveyors go about warping minds, by telling only half the story and pointing the student in a very wrong direction.

For any not fully convinced of the technique, I prove the following.

11. The sort of education provided by government school produces progressives rather than patriots. Ken Burns, in the documentary the Americn Revolution, shows the technique. He uses the black poetess Phyllis Wheatly to represent blacks in slavery in America.

12. He provides these lines: I, young in life, by seeming cruel fate

Was snatch'd from Afric's fancy'd happy seat:

What pangs excruciating must molest,

What sorrows labour in my parent's breast?

13. But in another poem, she wrote about the benefit of being brought to America:

'Twas mercy brought me from my Pagan land,

Taught my benighted soul to understand

That there's a God, that there's a Saviour too:

Once I redemption neither sought nor knew.

14. Slavery is mentioned but not who captured and sold her or the Bostonians who taught her to read and write, become a published poet, who taught her Latin and Greek, how to interpret the Bible, and praised by George Washington.

15. It is of interest that Cassius Clay/Mohammad Ali made a similar observation about the evil of slavery:

“In the early 1970s Muhammad Ali fought for the heavyweight title against George Foreman. The fight was held in the African nation of Zaire; it was insensitively called the "rumble in the jungle." Ali won the fight, and upon returning to the United States, he was asked by a reporter, "Champ, what did you think of Africa?" Ali replied, "Thank God my granddaddy got on that boat!"
…for all the horror of slavery, it was the transmission belt that brought Africans into the orbit of Western freedom.”

So carefully selecting that which puts America in a poor light gives us the government school grads called Democrats....

Pathetic mindless blather painting an education system with a broad brush of criticisms of a portion of the big picture. That's all you have.

However, I will say your cut and paste skills are exceptional!

When I was young, civics classes were mandatory, and teachers were strongly discouraged from bringing their politics into the classroom.

The best way to improve our current education would be to implement both once again. Any teacher who grades according to the agreement with their politics should be fired immediately.

That's still the way it is now.

What if they grade based on the number of cakes students bring them instead.🫡

For someone who uses the word "prove" so often, you never seem to prove anything. I would suggest that you use your own words to establish a claim and then support it with logic and reasoning before (better instead of) page after page of carefully selected copy/paste, but by now it is clear that actual thinking is beyond you. You lack any real experience or pertinent education/training, and you also lack the strength of character to swallow your hollow pride.
