“Education”??? Insidious And Evil!

All those pride flags and BLM posters say otherwise.
No they don't, and where do you see BLM posters anymore? No pride flags in my school outside of that one month (whenever it is). American flags in every classroom, and all students stand and recite the Pledge of Allegiance every morning.

So, since the BLM fad has run its course, that means it didn't happen and since promoting gays is officially sanctioned for an entire month, likewise?

...since promoting gays is officially sanctioned for an entire month, likewise?
Not "promoting" so much as recognizing. Do you think there are no gay kids in high school? There always have been. Not so horrible if they don't feel like lepers for a couple of weeks. The only flag in my classroom is the American flag, and we don't talk about such personal things. The kids know who's what, and they are mostly cool with each other. It's really not considered a big deal between the kids these days.

Is there a month allotted to Christians or straight people or left handers or Buddhists or fat people or vegetarians or any other distinguishing feature?

And now for the denouement....

It is, to coin a phrase, "self-evident" that the real purpose of government schooling is not education, but indoctrination....and it is far too successful.

i have shown how the purveyors go about warping minds, by telling only half the story and pointing the student in a very wrong direction.

For any not fully convinced of the technique, I prove the following.

11. The sort of education provided by government school produces progressives rather than patriots. Ken Burns, in the documentary the Americn Revolution, shows the technique. He uses the black poetess Phyllis Wheatly to represent blacks in slavery in America.

12. He provides these lines: I, young in life, by seeming cruel fate

Was snatch'd from Afric's fancy'd happy seat:

What pangs excruciating must molest,

What sorrows labour in my parent's breast?

13. But in another poem, she wrote about the benefit of being brought to America:

'Twas mercy brought me from my Pagan land,

Taught my benighted soul to understand

That there's a God, that there's a Saviour too:

Once I redemption neither sought nor knew.

14. Slavery is mentioned but not who captured and sold her or the Bostonians who taught her to read and write, become a published poet, who taught her Latin and Greek, how to interpret the Bible, and praised by George Washington.

15. It is of interest that Cassius Clay/Mohammad Ali made a similar observation about the evil of slavery:

“In the early 1970s Muhammad Ali fought for the heavyweight title against George Foreman. The fight was held in the African nation of Zaire; it was insensitively called the "rumble in the jungle." Ali won the fight, and upon returning to the United States, he was asked by a reporter, "Champ, what did you think of Africa?" Ali replied, "Thank God my granddaddy got on that boat!"
…for all the horror of slavery, it was the transmission belt that brought Africans into the orbit of Western freedom.”

So carefully selecting that which puts America in a poor light gives us the government school grads called Democrats....

Government school......insidious and evil.

I knew a little bit about Phyllis Wheatley once upon a time.

She was devoted to her mistress. Unlike most slaves, of course, she was treated well, but she appreciated living in America. Sailing into Boston Harbor, she must have noted the stark contrast between the development there and the primitive lifestyle of her home land.

Sadly, a few decades later, Boston would be where the malcontents would first start clamoring for government schools.

And your sources are biased and incorrect. All you seem to source are opinions based on false information.
Watch how deftly I sink you again:

AI Overview

Yes,
studies show public school teachers enroll their children in private schools at a significantly higher rate (around double the national average, over 20%) than the general public, often due to concerns about specific school quality, specialized needs, safety, or logistical convenience, despite working within the public system. This trend highlights perceived gaps in public education that teachers themselves, with intimate knowledge of the system, seek to avoid for their own kids, using their education/income to access alternatives like parochial, charter, or specialized private schools.

For someone who uses the word "prove" so often, you never seem to prove anything. I would suggest that you use your own words to establish a claim and then support it with logic and reasoning before (better instead of) page after page of carefully selected copy/paste, but by now it is clear that actual thinking is beyond you. You lack any real experience or pertinent education/training, and you also lack the strength of character to swallow your hollow pride.
With very little effort you have become our main source of greenhouse gases.

Of course that was my reason for quoting Wheatley.

Did you learn about her in public school or on your own?

15th post
On my own. I read a biography about her.
Thank you......that is exactly my point.

The government indoctrination system "teached" only what puts America in a poor light.

Folks such as you and I study all sorts of avenues and wind up very differently from many goverrnment school grads.

Where did you see them? Social media, new stories? How many classrooms did they cover?
You are like Unkotore. You both see criticism of woke ideology in schools as an accusation against you, personally, and then deny it exists by indulging in anecdotal denials and red herrings.
