In a democracy, the 51 percent always rule the 49 percent. That's mob rule.

That's the difference.
A constitutional republic is a form of democracy, like pure and representative. It’s hardly a thing in and of itself.

then why not just call it what it is instead of gaslighting uneducated and young people into thinking we are a pure democracy,,

None of you know what you're talking about.

What a train wreck. It's really no wonder the country is in such a state.

That's bullshit. What you have now is minority rule and that's really not working well for 80% of the people who want change.

and yet you fail to say why or an example of whats right,,

Sure I have. Likely over a hundred times around here through the years. It's like talking to the wall with you people.

Again, with regard to our "compound Republic," see Federalist #51 (for starters)

The Federalist is widely regarded as the blueprint for America's constitution as well as its form of government.

Not Wikipedia. Not some other opinion piece web site. Not dictionary.com.

See the blueprint itself.

Good luck to you...

The problem with every dictatorship that they just talk like you about the power of the people.
So, what you are saying is the United States morphed into this beautiful panacea from a dictatorship since the 1960's.

A mob is a mob and my critique was that you have acquiesced to a riot.
never said it wasnt a mob,, just that over a yr of riots with billions in damage are of greater concern than a few hundred people in one event,,

What successful modern country ever had a pure democracy?

Isn't ours a representative form of government that is democratically elected by the People?

The United States is a Representative Democracy. It is also a Constitutional Republic. They are not mutually exclusive.
And Madison was clear that the majority should set policy until such time as a new majority changes that

NOWHERE did they envision a minority would set policy
