The Rosemont Hotel & Residences Dubai, designed by ZAS Architects, is slated to feature a giant manmade outdoor rainforest with a beach and stream and trees that spray mist to water the other plants.
By 2018, visitors should be able to get a fully immersive experience by seeing the flora and fauna from the ground of the rainforest all the way to the canopy—and by getting misted by the "sensory rain system," which will simulate "the sensation of being surrounded by rainfall without actually getting wet."
