Door Dash delivery driver decides not to deliver person food because they didnt tip lol

To me, the people who work such a job should find another one if they are not satisfied with whatever money comes in no matter what direction that money comes to them from.

God bless you always!!!

Holly (a girl with low expectations)
In a country with such high unemployment it is because of lack of work opportunities. The US is eating itself alive. It ought to be illegal for any employer to pay its people low wages to the point that tips are necessary. "Find another job", you say? Where? Americans are living in a squeeze.

There are PLENTY of jobs to be had.

Thing is..........companies are SO corrupt now, and backed by the government in doing so........they literally get away with slave wages.

I live in the Dallas, Texas metro area......and wages here dropped back to $10.00 an hour under Obozo's Tyrranical Administration. And it's been "stuck" between $10-$15 since. Hell, most companies don't even give raises or bonuses anymore.

This is why most people with kids are working 2-4 jobs per each parent.

I'm still single, and I haven't gotten above $16.00 an hour in almost 20 years, because the government will NOT sanction these corrupt companies and FORCE them to do business ethically, morally, and honestly.

I don't mean to sound insensitive in any way, but a lot of what can be on a person's plate are things that they only dumped on it themselves. Those who live beyond their means have no room to expect the rest of us to foot whatever is left of their bill when we have our own lives and expenses to deal with.

God bless you always!!!

P.S. As for wages not being sufficient enough, writing your local congressman may be the only thing to do about that.

Yeah if u dont have money to tip then u shouldnt be ordering no ******* food. I always had a fear of something happening to my order if I didnt tip like never getting it or them eating it lol
Is a tip an unstated delivery charge?

What kind of Fascist system allows employers to pay their workers less than minimal wage so that tips are the only way for employment to be worth taking on?
The greatest system in the world. Get with the programme, bro'.

I'm not sure if I believe that, but .......

..... I definitely believe that. That's why tipping has become a necessity in the US. It is probably also why crime is rampant.

Didn't Holly have your solution?

Crime is greater where tipping is lesser?

Yes.

If you were not so timid you'd probably take it on.
I don't tip, ever. Nor do I order delivered food. And I certainly wouldn't order a delivery for mystery charges.

So I'd still like to know the function of tipping in such transactions.

No. Crime is greater where slave wages are all that can be expected. Why seek employment if you can lift someone else's wealth instead?
Because there is no wealth where slave wages are all that can be expected.
