Don't Be Hoodwinked By Trumps UAE-Israel Deal, It's A Sham

ā€œHUGE breakthrough today,ā€ crowed Donald Trump on Twitter as he announced the new peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. The deal makes the UAE the first Gulf Arab state and the third Arab nation, after Egypt and Jordan, to have diplomatic ties with Israel. But the new Israel-UAE partnership should fool no one. Though it will supposedly stave off Israeli annexation of the West Bank and encourage tourism and trade between both countries, in reality, it is nothing more than a scheme to give an Arab stamp of approval to Israelā€™s status quo of land theft, home demolitions, arbitrary extrajudicial killings, apartheid laws and other abuses of Palestinian rights.

The deal should be seen in the context of more than three years of Trump administration policies that have tightened Israelā€™s grip on the Palestinians: moving the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, recognizing the Golan Heights as Israeli territory, and creating a so-called peace plan with no Palestinian participation or input. While no U.S. administration has successfully brokered a resolution to Israelā€™s now 53-year-long occupation, the Trump years have been especially detrimental to the Palestinian cause.

Itā€™s a huge leap in regional peace

How would you feel if Obama had made the deal?

Israel and the UAE have had strong economic ties and mutual security agreements for decades. This is just a stunt. Especially since Netanyahu has been tweeting that the annexations are still in the table. Also odd that it was first announced here, rather than by either participant.
Correct.

Itā€™s also an act of desperation on the part of Trump; a pathetic effort to identify a ā€˜successā€™ in the dismal failure that is the Trump presidency, and a failed attempt to jumpstart his struggling bid for a second term.

How would you have felt about it if Obama had made the deal?

Israel and Bahrain and next will be Omar
If T wins then it will be Saudi Arabia

Very powerful alliance against Iran

A post that further proves white liberals are not the friends of Israel they pretend to be to garner the Jewish vote in America.

The Arab League rejected your position.

Arab League rejects Palestinian demand to condemn Israel-UAE deal
The Arab leagueā€™s refusal to endorse the draft resolution is considered a severe blow to the Palestinians.

The Arab League on Wednesday refused to endorse a Palestinian draft resolution condemning the United Arab Emirates for its normalization agreement with Israel, a move that is a severe blow to the Palestinians, Ramallah officials said.

Trump just makes better deals.

PROGRESS: F-35 Stealth Fighter Now Costs Less Than Boeingā€™s F-15EX. ā€œMoreover, the aircraftā€™s maker, Lockheed Martin, has also done its part to bring the sustainability cost per flying hour down by some 40 percentā€”meaning that the F-35 costs less to fly per hour, which is notable as the hours flown each year are set to increase.ā€

Moreover, the F-35 also costs less to fly per hour, which is notable as the hours flown each year are set to increase.

The F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter is the most lethal and versatile aircraft of the modern era. Three unique variants have been produced so that the aircraft can fit the needs of the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy and United States Marine Corps. It is an agile aircraft that has radar-jamming abilities, supersonic speed and stealth capabilities. It has been widely adopted by American allies and partners and could remain in service well into the 2070s.

DoD has been able to leverage its buying power and that has driven down the cost of each F-35A to around $80 million a full year earlier than planned. That means the fifth-generation F-35 now costs less than the F-15EX, a less capable but still significantly updated fourth-generation aircraft, which costs around $88 million each.

The United Arab Emirates plans to acquire the F-35.

It's kinda sad that some folks think their feelings are more important than world peace.

I disagree, this is a great deal.

Reduces the chance of armed conflict in the Middle East, extends the hand of civility between a regional power with the State of Israel.

Puts pressure on the Palestinians as well to try and seek peace.

Not like the Palestinians can do anything about it.
The problem has always been the intent by the Zionists to massacre all the rest of the Palestinians, like the tens of thousands they already murdered.

...the Pals should thank their lucky stars that Israel has shown IMMENSE restraint in not shoving them into the sea
1. the Pals attacked the WORLD and WORLD peace in 1972
2. the Pals are the problem--not Israel--the Pals cause shit and murder with their OWN KIND--not just with Israel:

and in Lebanon:

learn some history before you spew babble crap

The UN won't let that happen.
The whole rest of the world has stated over and over how Israel is the perpetrator.

The Palestinians have never been the problem.
If the Palestinians were the problem, then why did the Zionists murder the British peacekeepers by blowing up the King David Hotel, and gun down the UN moderator, Folke Bernadotte?
They why did they start massacring all the Arab villages near the West Bank, as reported by Albert Einstein?

Berry sent the clown Kerry to Iran and they ended up dumping 55 billion in cash on the tarmac and that money went to fund terrorism.
Worthless deal. I am glad Trump DUMPED that "deal".

That is a lie.
First of all, the only money was gave to Iran was their own we finally returned after illegally holding on to it since 1979.
It was the prepayment on 2 corvette ships we never delivered.
It was illegal for us to have or keep the money.
Nor is Iran involved in terrorism.
The main terrorist in the Mideast are the US and Israel.

so we don't want to be detrimental to terrorists???!!!!!!!!???

The Palestinians have been invaded and are attempting to liberate their occupied country.
That totally justifies anything they can think of doing.
It is never terrorism when you are fighting an illegal occupier who has invaded your country illegally.
There is absolutely nothing legitimate about Israel.
As a Jew I can tell you that even going to the Mideast before the coming of the Messiah, is a sin.
