Done! Well, except for staining it all

Almost 6 months to finish.... and holy hell it's too hot for this shit and it isn't even summer full on yet. Nice in the shade tho.
Now that is one awesome deck GMU! After seeing your bathroom model, I had to check this tread out and was not disappointed!

What is it about decks? First thing most vacationer's ask about if the property has a deck or balcony. I have a plain deck but feel extra happy just sitting on it. Right now I don't give it too close a look because it needs to be stained...yet again. Now that's a good job for someone.....go around staining decks! Oh wait, employers can't find workers and a lot of home owners are motivated to do it themselves. Where are the high school kids on summer break who used to look for neighborhood jobs...what happened to them I wonder? Not the ones who grew up already in case you were thinking that MG lol

I built almost the same exact deck back in late 1980s. Sold the house two years after. The buyers raved about the deck on the walk through. A year after they moved in they removed all my fruit trees from the back yard ripped out the deck and painted the place pink. I felt like strangling them. They fucked that house up good.
One reason why I never drive by my first house I bought in 1986 and sold in 2001..
I drove by that same house recently heard it had switched hands again. The new owners have it looking sharp again but ya that can be frustrating to see all your blood sweat and tears treated that way.
What can you say you are not there anymore., where I live now is a struggle to keep the trees and vines from taking over.
I was separated for four years. My wife had control of the house while I was gone. I got it back in February and she had done much worse than those idiots back then I have spent every waking moment since February erasing her stupidity and started walking buyers through yesterday. It is finally better but I wonder what my blood pressure was for all of those months. Due to the divorce I had very little funds to repair and replace. I had to resurface just about everything. The labor involved was ridiculous. I went through more Dimond pads for natural stone and sand paper for wood and drywall than you can imagine. I just don't know what goes through angry people's minds. This was her house also. If this is a statement on who she is inside she is a very ugly person under her skin. Oh well couple weeks and this nightmare is over and on to bigger and better things. Look forward to seeing my boat dock up on the lake from my three seasons room up there. The best revenge is living well and that is what I plan to do!
I gave both my ex wives everything they wanted in the divorces. NOTHING is worth the stress of dealing with a petulant, angry woman. NOTHING.
It can all be replaced
She wanted the money I wanted the property. I could not stand seeing the home my children grew up in looking like that. That being said I certainly wonder if I made the right choice. It has been taxing to say the least. Pride may be my mortal sin. Hopefully I will not continue to pay for it as I have the past few months.

I believe in death do you part. In the event of it not working out, you split 50/50 (unless one decides otherwise and they don't with the hassle).

That's the deal for better or worse as far as I am concerned.

First wife insisted we give 10% of my GROSS business income to the church and that we attend at least 3 days a week. NO GO

Second wife kept writing scripts for herself and spiraled down down down. Also a NO GO. I gave her ample chances to quit.

Life is too short to put up with bullahit everyday

Lol, how crazy that is that we are so similar. I have had only one wife but she did both things. I thought if ya would stop popping those freaking pills maybe you would not feel so guilty and have to go to church all the time. What's worse due to her crazy issues my children have no respect for religion. That is sad. I tried to explain that what they saw out of mom is not real religion its just the life of the deeply troubled. I hope they can find a way to at least a little faith in the future. It is sad unfortunately I see this with many pretty women. So many ply them with alcohol and drugs trying to get down their pants and the world kinda just lays down for them in some ways they never learn how to deal with real problems and become superficial or worse. Some of it is my fault I was busy trying to build a life and a business it was a good many years before I realized she had a pill problem. Oh well can't be in two places at once in the end she made her choices and will pay the price for them.
