Sounds like both Hegseth and Vance are opposed to women in combat. I have no problem with them filling support positions.

I think the issue is that there aren't enough volunteers to fill spots now, much less restrict them again.
Of course "support position" could include everything up to combat pilot.

Having said that we need to close foreign bases and downsize the military anyway. We need to balance the budget and no longer need to be World Police.
