Most people consider COVID to be largely a thing of the past. I don't think even the most left-wing of governments are going to put in new restrictions for this variant. Any private entities that may do so are really not worth his concern.

Depends on if people do mask mandates again or not?

It is just like 1918 Spanish Flu.
If you make mask mandates, you can prevent herd immunity and keep any epidemic around forever.
That will maximize the death total.

And he happens to have been right on covid.
The smallest death toll would have been if we had voluntarily only masked those over 70.

I would never vote for Trump because of what he did to the SCOTUS on Roe Vs Wade, but he started no illegal wars and had reasonable economic policies.
He was also right to end the illegal ACA mandate penalty.

Since the mRNA vax does not at all end any epidemic, then the vax is the main cause of covid deaths.
If not for the vax, then we would not have tried to "flatten the curve" to wait for the vax, and then we could have ended it in 3 months, preventing over 90% of the deaths.

And covid killed no one.
All the deaths were from an over-reaction by the immune system, that essentially caused an allergic pneumonia.
