Does anyone know what happened to him? Imus was simulcasting from RFD-TV (a Fox affiliate) to ABC radio after his lengthy sabbatical from MSNBC, and now he's been gone for way over a month. He usually returns to New York from New Mexico when his son's school starts.
Can't find any reference on the Internet, but he did announce during the summer that he had prostate cancer. Imus already had emphysema and only one lung as I recall.
I miss him, the closest I'll get to listening to a shock jock, but Imus was always up on everything, a very well-read individual. Being blunt, he often evoked answers to questions other more renowned and experienced commentators wouldn't.
