DOJ Refuses To Comply With House Judiciary Committee Request - 'Willing To Negotiate'

Do you want DOJ to brief the white house on the investigation into classified documents held by Biden?

To tell the white house where they plan to look, who they plan to question, and disclose what documents they found.

Think about it.
I want the DOJ to be accountable to the House so they are not above the law.

Because Jim Jordan, the head of the committee is one of the possible TARGETS of the investigation.
Elections have consequences.
Regardless, that doesn’t mean there’s going to be interference in the investigation. Nor is it obstruction of justice. Think better.

Investigated by whom, the IBI?

Imaginary Biden Investigations

BWAHAHAHA

YOU PEOPLE HAD THAT DISK FOR 5 YEARS AND ALL YOU GOT OUT WAS SOME DICK PICS.

Sort of explains the MAGAT fascination with drag queens doesn't it?

You're thinking of Anthony Weiner.

You are seriously stupid, seriously mentally ill, or a seriously failed gaslighter. Which one? I seriously don't care.

What's so hard to understand.

The police, the DA, the US Attorneys, anybody in the criminal justice system knows that the release of certain information can sabotage an investigation.

Releasing information you found on the laptop you've been hiding for over 2 years is countetproductive to protecting the President and his son.

You're a classic example of the problem in this country. The old corrupt double standard.
What "double standard" is that? Guess what? Jordan is full of shit & he knows it. Jordan wants to pull his nose out of Trump's ass & stick it in DOJ's investigation of Trump & his mob to find out what they have on HIM & the rest of Trump's crew in regards to Jan. 6 & other Trump crimes. But it won't work because DOJ is not going to kneel before Jordan & deal with his bullshit.

DOJ just set Gymmy back on his heels which is long overdue.

They're not above the law. When the investigation is over, they'll give congress a full report.

But not in the middle of an investigation, where a leak of information would compromise the case.

Do you remember the case against Oliver North. Well it was congress's role in the investigation that resulted in overturning his convictions

North was granted limited immunity from prosecution in exchange for testifying before Congress about the scheme. He was initially convicted on three felony ...

A federal appeals court, citing the Iran-contra committees' decision to force former White House aide Oliver L. North to testify before the congressional ...

Doesn't the DOJ work for the people represented by Congress? How can they negotiate?
DOJ can negotiate what information about an active investigation they can release, that won't effect their investigation or prosecution.

But they won't turn over any evidence they haven't publicly released.

We saw it with Devin Nunes and the Russia investigation.

Biden's DOJ is above the law. They answer to no one.

Garland refuses to releae information on on-going investigations to the House Judiciary Committee / Oversight Committee.

Instead, the DOT sent the House a letter outlining their defined process in which they would be willing to release only information they chose to.

'The Justice Department on Friday told House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, it would not provide certain information related to its ongoing investigations .'

The DOJ stated there is long-standing (DOJ) policy that allows them to withhold on-going investigation info as well as withhold confirmation of the existence of on-going investigations.

Umm, I would not care about proven partisan, weaponized internal policy that says rge DOJ can HIDE information about investigatio s or even HIDE complete investigations from Congress.

That shit needs to end NOW, and Garland and his DOJ,it seems, needs to be educated on tbe definition of 'Oversight', as in COMPLETE OVERSIGHT of the DOJ.

Just like the proven criminal, weaponized FBI, the DOJ is pushing back against any external oversight.

Exactly what the DOJ and FBI need, however, is oversight from an outside entity, not from anyone who was raised, groomed, and elevated from within these proven partisan, weaponized agencies!

Are you really this stupid, Sleazy, or is this an just another act????

Aside from the fact that the DOJ never comments on ongoing investigations, and they especially don't tell and aren't going to give information to the people being investigated, which includes most of the Republican members of the Judiciary Committee, and the Republican Obstruction of Justice subcommittee. And many of whom refused to testify to the January 6th Committee.

The whole reason they set up that "weaponization of Government" subcommittee was to mess the their own investigations. If they'd put an actual lawyer in charge of these Committees instead of an insurrectionist wrestling coach, who should be charged for failing to report the sexual abuse of his students.

After the 4 years of Trump stonewalling and refusing to testify, refusing to provide ANY documents until order to by the Supreme Court, and generally treating oversight as "adversarial litigation", the insurrectionists may have taken over the oversight committees, but they can fuck themselves on co-operation, or being allowed to meddle in ongoing investigations - especially those they're involved in, either as a subject or a witness.

I think you just nailed the perfect description of yourself. You keep claiming Trump is an innocent man, despite the number of criminal law suits he's "settled", fines paid for criminal behaviour, and his interviews were he admiits to bribing people, and "buying" politicians. But Hillary is a flaming criminal despite never having been charged with a crime or fined for criminal wrong doing.

That takes a SERIOUSLY mentally challenged person to believe any of that, and you're that guy, Sleazy.
