Zone1 Does anyone think we need to keep the current military model of lowering physical performance standards for women?

Currently, for pretty much all run, carry, push-up, swim, etc tests, women aren’t held to the same standard as men.

Pete Hegseth said he wants to make it equal for all. I say touché. Does anyone on here actually back the leftist woke demand for unequal standards to get more women into the military?

No. They should not be in field combat. Could a woman ever be a Navy Seal? The idea is rediculous.

How do you make sup for the shortfall of recruits?

Recruits will take care of themselves when the military is restored to an effective, efficient, deadly fighting force at a level that ensures it will likely rarely, if ever, be needed because nobody will dare mess with us.

When it is noble and worthwhile being in the military and good soldiers are respected and appreciated again.

When nobody in the military is seen as the affirmative action or DEI personnel.

As for women, if they can meet the same standards as the guys then okay. If they can't, they should expect to be assigned to strictly administrative and non combat roles where their lesser strength/physical ability will not put fellow service personnel at higher risk.
