Our Commander in Chief spoke to military leadership.

Addressing the top brass, Chump fucked around and found out how much they loved being cast as domestic hit and political yes men...

Most Just want to argue... Any one read the transcript of the lecture given to the military?
I listened to it. Vainglorious puffery from someone who can't even do a military pull up in Hegseth's case.

I can respect lower level military members, but once you get past a certain rank in the armed forces, you become a politician. They're glorified bureaucrats in the upper echelon.

Desperately looking for a silver lining here:

I have no doubt that this ridiculous circus has made virtually all of those general give serious thought to exactly what they will do if and when their Commander in Chief issue an order that is illegal, unconstitutional or both. They have to decide if they want to issue specific standing orders that allow them to make specific decisions on following his orders. They are sworn to the Constitution, not the CIC.

After what they have experienced, they also have to decide NOW if they're going to proceed under the assumption that he is, indeed, sane. So I have to hope that that's a good thing.

The silver lining was removing any ambiguity about whether this man is crazy or not, there is no future "well, if I had of known the man was batshit crazy I would have never issued that order" excuse.

These men and women, white and black (don't use the N word, remember) Asian and Hispanic, all know that he is certifiable after he rambled nonsensically in front of them, all of this after issuing an inexplicable order to return en masse and listen to him for no discernable reason.

America's Generals are now facing the very same decision that many who worked in and around the White House during Trump's first season faced:

Do I resign in disgust, or do I stay and try to stop it from getting worse?

Trump's superpower is putting good people in impossible situations. That's how he breaks good people.

You MAGA can explain anything away. Either they are liberals or RINO Globalists if they don't go along with whatever insane or illegal thing Trump wants to do. Even if what he's seeing on tv doesn't match reality because he's getting senile. If they aren't on board with MAGA you can explain them away like this.

It's tradition they don't clap or boo no matter who the President is. Trump didn't like that. He wants loyal admirals and generals. And slim.
