A doctor has questioned whether farts could spread coronavirus after tests earlier this year claimed to show the virus was present in faeces. Another doctor has said the claim was 'unlikely'.

Here's the thing with doctors. Getting through medical school is hard work and even if you graduated medical school in Grenada, you had to put in a lot of hours.

That being said, once your training and residency is over, keeping your medical qualifications is comparatively easy. Some doctors can get pretty lazy and not only fall behind on continuing education, but forget what they learned in school.

Having that MD after your name doesn't automatically make you an expert on all things medical. Despite what news reporters might want you to believe.
