Do you think Business will start moving out of England?

I think the Brexit vote is the best thing that happened to American politics. We will all get to see, in real time, the folly of rightwing scare-mongering and the devastating effects it has on the country.

It will cement Hillary's accention (sp) to President. Don't believe me? Just watch...

And if that doesn't happen, you going to admit you were wrong? Think
When it DOES happen, what will you do?

OH gosh we must live in fear of "IT" happening.

Yes, Marc thinks that this is going to be devastatingly destructive, and he's sick of fear mongering over the impending doom that it's going to be. He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer. He needs to ... think ...

Nothing is going to change. This is just fear mongering by the establishment. The establishment and the new world order took a big hit with this vote, and they don't like it. So every downturn in the economy will be blamed on the English people choosing freedom from the globalists.

The reason for the vote to go the way it went is because of what is going on in Britain. The economy is going into the dumper and the invasion that they can't control is out of control.

But now it will all be blamed on a vote for freedom.

And the story goes on. "We don't like what you said, so it's scaremongering"

Yeah, sure, the pound will never drop low after Brexit, it's scaremongering. But it happened. Still scaremongering.

And who controls the price of a pound and the markets? Yep, those who are invested in the status quo. Who voted against the establishment? Those hurt the most by the establishment.

Maybe marc needs to learn a lesson form Soros on how to sell short.

Democrats always want you to believe that when you do something they don't want it will lead to catastrophic destruction ... and they are going to make sure it happens ...

The funny ones are the ones like Marc who while they say that say they are against "fear mongering." It's classic. He doesn't take his own advice, he doesn't ... think

There will be a price to pay for leaving the EU

Short term, the UK will see a devalued pound, credit derating, inflation and increased austerity while the changes are taking hold

Long term, things will settle down and the UK will be functional, but not as efficient in its global trade

UK Treasury chief tries to calm fears over 'Brexit' fallout

LONDON — Britain’s Treasury chief sought Monday to ease concerns about the vote to leave the European Union, saying the economy is as strong as it could be to face the uncertainty — even as a survey showed many companies are looking to move business out of the country.

The pound hit a new 31-year record low, dropping another 3.3 percent to $1.3227. Stock markets also declined across Europe.

Osborne pledged not to impose a new austerity budget — even though he said during the campaign that one would be necessary if voters chose to leave the EU. He said another budget would be the task of Cameron’s successor.

What else will change once England leaves?

England will now have tariffs on it's goods.

Raw material will cost more. Of course these things will cost jobs.

People will need passports to visit other countries in Europe.

They will no longer be able to live anywhere they want in Europe.

Their movement and where they live will be restricted. England will no longer get EU dollars for science and research. It's scientists will no longer be able to move about Europe without permission.

And Scotland and Wales are talking about dissolving an agreement they've had for 300 years. That could mean that the English will need a passport to visit those countries.

Remember what Conservatives did to this country under Bush?
Brexit Revealed the Always on the Make, Money-Grubbing Grifter That is Donald Trump
Every single person under the sun, from experts to God, warned this would be a mistake and still fear won. Sadly, business's will thrive with the pound being so cheap at this point...especially outside interest, like Trump and once again only the elite, whom they sought to marginalize, will benefit. What people must understand that voting on emotions, never pan out. The only people who will suffer as always when voting out of emotion and fear are the very people that bought into the shit. Had they paid attention to our political reality show, they would have gotten clues....2 years ago, the mindless voted on for a majority GOP house and got nothing for their votes. All of those politicians play the fear card and to date, our borders are still open and we've yet to see all these good paying jobs they promised.

The thing is the UK makes little and buys more... This will not work in there favour... Tata steel are now going to drop the hammer on 15,500 jobs next week...

The Brits will vote again... How they engineer that is the trick..

What was the US trade surplus/deficit last year?

Jake Starkey should sit in too. He says he "bet his portfolio" Brexit would pass, but he never could say what investments he made to accomplish that. Liberals make up their crap, which is why they can't logically defend it

He can't read, they are cutting 1,050 jobs, not 15,500. And it's because of falling steel prices in Europe, it has nothing to do with Brexit

The Beatings will continue until confidence in the Post Brexit Markets Return...

The pound has been driven down to a new 31-year low, hitting $1.3152 against the US dollar for the first time since 1985.

The selloff was relentless, despite finance minister George Osborne telling the media at 7am London time that the UK economy could ride out the current storm.

Damn Brexit. It made my cereal soggy this morning ...

Brexit has no real bearing on American politics. It isn't much of a predictor of right wing politics outside of the UK.

This is really an economic issue.

PS--muslims will still flood the UK. Brexit only made it harder for other Europeans to move to the UK! It is easier for citizens of the commonwealth(like India) to move to England than it is for a Frenchman if the Brits leave the EU.

I think Brexit won't occur.

There is a good chance the next PM will try to stop it. The UK is economically stronger in the EU.
stop it?

they need to trigger it first. and apparently cameron will not do it, and passes the buck to his successor. if they were so fucking eager to leave they could have triggered it already.

I think they will maintain some connections to the EU without full membership
they won't get to pick and choose. if they want a deal like norway or switzerland, then they will have to pay like norway and switzerland. there is no free lunch.
Basically.

Yes, now Europe will cut them off and refuse to trade with them, they will make it illegal for their citizens to travel to Britain and kill the tourist industry. Cats will lie down with dogs and a giant vortex will form and suck the entire island to the center of the earth killing every Brit in the UK while spawning tornadoes that will kill every Brit remaining overseas.

Where do you people come up with this crap? Wishful thinking?
