At this time their entire air force inventory is 2 Cessna 208s, an An-32, and 6 helicopters ranging from the MD 500 to 3 Mi-17 "Hip"s. The other aircraft the country had like the Super Tucanos, PC-12 and C-130 were pulled out or destroyed before the government fell.

Not like that is much of a threat to Israel, even if they could reach it.

They are still fighting the National Resistance Front, just as they were the Northern Alliance in 2001. And last year there were multiple skirmishes between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

In case you are not aware, Pakistan and Afghanistan have been in conflict since the Taliban took over. They have been supporting and harboring at least two groups that have been operating in Pakistan and trying to overthrow that country and install a Taliban type of government. And for most of 2024 the groups were fighting on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border.

The Soviets never fought the Taliban, because there was no Taliban. The Soviets withdrew in 1989, the Taliban was formed 5 years later in 1994.

Who the Soviets fought was the Afghan Mujahideen. They are almost the exact opposite of the Taliban, which had huge numbers of what was known as the "Arab Mujahideen". What you are saying makes as much sense as trying to claim that in WWI the French and British were fighting the NSDAP.
