88% of blacks maybe. Even that would be down from the 98% black bigots who voted for the faux black just because of skin color.
We are racist country. Is this news to you?
yes!!! HE WAS ELECTED ONLY BECAUSE HE IS 1/2 BLACK AND TYPICAL LIBERALS THOUGHT IT WOULD BE SOOOOOOO CUTE TO HAVE A SKINNY BLACK GUY AS PRESIDENT NO MATTER THAT HE IS CLUELESS!!! wow!
Dear GISMYS: unlike you or me who didn't need to see a Black President get elected,
many people in our country did, or they would never consider getting involved in public issues and LEARNING to take responsibility for democratic process which relies on all citizens.
We have whole sectors and populations GENERATIONS behind on the learning curve, because they never had any reason to get involved or try to educate themselves.
Suddenly people are paying attention and voting who never bothered before. Others are running for office who never considered that before (either because they are for or against one side or another).
YES it is sad many are starting from NOTHING, and only believe that you vote for officials and those people have all the power to do whatever they want in office. That's where a lot of these new voters are starting, with NO knowledge or experience with Constitutional process of govt that has more rules and principles than just "majority rule wins control."
But that is the reality, GISMYS
We have to start SOMEWHERE.
America NEEDED this stage in order to get all people involved, educated and caught up.
NO, we are NOT all on the same page, or same stages of development.
People are WOEFULLY behind, and yes that means they can be manipulated for their vote.
We have to work harder and smarter to educate all our populations to have equal knowledge of the laws, and then experience so we won't have this gap in understanding.
This was the first time many people even paid attention to politics at all.
Not what I wanted either, but it's part of a process to get all America growing, working and building in the right direction. We all need to be actively involved, and this was a first step for many Americans who aren't where you and I are. We need to catch everyone up.
And some NEEDED to see that FINALLY someone they relate to can get educated and work through the system; and from there, we can correct the problems and teach the RIGHT WAY to do things. The first step is to jump in the water at all. Some people wouldn't even bother or consider, until they saw Obama get into office. Then they started to care what is going on with govt.
