If there had ever been a Trivial Pursuit game on word etymology, I might have had a chance at winning. As it was, I almost always came in last.

More seriously, years ago I found myself wondering all too often, "Is that what the Bible really says", which brought the original Hebrew into Bible studies. I often thank God for bringing a Jewish atheist, whose first language was Hebrew, into my life. Thus began a truer understanding of the Bible. Jewish atheist & Catholic believer.
