Enough to try to not disappoint. To ask for forgiveness and mean it? Do you fear G-d more than the evil of man?

So much to uphold and so little time.

The right amount of fear or respect to authority of God helps focus on the work of God I have to do. Too much fear will cause me to freeze and not act upon the things I know to be true.

No, i do not fear God. I dont even fear the evil of man. Some of us, have seen evil up close, and delt with it in a very good manner.

There is a slightly different way of looking at this question. Do we believe God truly loves us as we are right now, or do we have this sneaking suspicion--this fear--that God is merely tolerating us until we are willing to give up sin, follow Him more closely, do better, etc.? Do we fear the evil in ourselves?

Do we fear our children when they do wrong? No. We help them and guide them to focus on God and his doctrine and commandments.

Fear of G-d keeps us focused and humble in his omnipresence. It is difficuot at times but we need to at least try and stay on course.

What does our fear of God have to do with parents fearing their children? I can't imagine such a thing. Do Mormon parents fear their children?

I don’t fear God. Then again I don’t see God as most people do. I don’t personify The Deity. I see it as just another Cosmic Force.

I believe we’re here specifically to be abused and assaulted by life and the world around us. It’s how we deal with that abuse that determines our Eternal fate; so really there’s nothing to fear or complain about except our own inability to live a proper life amidst the horrors of life.

Life is unfair. Expect to make sacrifices or suffer.

- parents fearing their children? I can't imagine such a thing.

really, another out of experience awakening ... surly they have heard of child abuse.

a pattern of behaviour…which involves using verbal, financial, physical and/or
emotional means to practise power and exert control over a parent...
such that a
parent unhealthily adapts his/her own behaviour to accommodate the child.
Commonly reported abusive behaviours include name-calling, threats to harm self or
others, attempts at humiliation, damage to property, theft and physical violence’

and the child fearing the parent - sad to be so shallow the nature for a savior christianity deliberately avoids for their own self interests.

to protect their celibate priests than those they have harmed throughout the centuries both young and old - to then claim their innocence.

- obviously they have no fear of the heavens.

who are you kidding - you drink too much of moses and their phony commandments for your own good - try something other than servitude and denial ...

jesus taught self determination, liberation theology to free ones spirit to triumph over evil for judgement and admission to the everlasting.

does one suffer and sacrifice to not be a sinner - - try something new, anything. there are other ways, happiness - try it.

Really? You think I'm like this guy?

all of Israel will be saved.

I bear the great seal of the living God. Prophecy fulfilled.

every time you defy the law of my God

I can't see the good in doing what has been forbidden by my God.

you act like you can escape the hand of my God in this world or the next
