The two are not mutually exclusive.

It's a fact that life forms of every type evolve and organic chemistry in the form of DNA is the driver of that evolution.

But, we also know that the molecular building blocks of that chemistry come from stars which came into being in a sudden explosion of creation from nothing to The Universe.

Evolution is described in Genesis and both can be true

Let's start with what we know. The universe did pop into existence ~14 billion years ago not being created from existing matter and began to expand and cool and evolve. It did so in an improbable way that left a universe filled with matter and radiation instead of only radiation. The laws of nature and the structure of matter are finely tuned to produce life and intelligence.

I don't see how this can be happenstance.
