It doesn't matter.... If our friendship with those nations was based on their screwing us then we don't need them. Of course they were happy to call themselves our friends as long as they were able to rape us with no repercussions. Try pulling this shit with China and see what happens..... Ask North Korea what happens when the North Koreans don't respect the Chinese boundaries.

When Mexico and Canada grow up to become real countries that actually have respect for the one neighbor that treats them better financially politically and generally in every other way maybe they'll be worthy of friendship. Fentanyl is de-criminalized in the Dominion of Canada. Its still illegal, but if caught you get a small fine and a citation, no prison time.
As a result, dope gangs are making this poison there and bringing it across the border to poison our children.
All that President Trump asked of Canada was to cooperate in the efforts to stop this tsunami from coming to America. If they want to kill their own people, fine.

Despite having earned the respect of both Canada and Mexico many times over neither one of them showed any. Mexico is run by the cartels who don't give a shit about respect in a relationship. Canada is not too far behind with foreign influence that has no interest in anything good for the United States. Indeed nothing is stopping these people from getting either a Canadian citizenship or a Mexican citizenship. That way they can feel good about themselves again and we will also feel good when they do it.
