Do not fall for people who CLAIM TO BE LIBERTARIAN, only to censor speech more than anyone else

I totally understand not voting,,

I skip some votes myself from time to time,,

I am going with trump because I want to see why the uniparty hates him so much and what he will do about what theyve done,,

and also to see if he gets a momentum going to fight back against the uniparty,,

he is not even close to being a single solution to our problem,, but he can be a trigger,,

Local issues are a HUGE reason to vote. In Florida, we have like 8 amendments to the state Constitution up for a vote. Also local officials, sheriffs, judges….lots of reasons to vote.

those should always be voted on,,

I am talking about when the choice is between 2 bowls of shit,,

Gosh I'm so old I remember Libertarians used to say "I may disagree with you but I'll defend to the death your right to say it". I guess today's Libertarian says "SHUT THE FUCK UP AND GET OFF THE STAGE!!!"
Which violates no one's rights. I remember when even Republicans understood that.

Understandable. Keep in mind, he was friends with the Clintons for years, and has publicly praised them on multiple occasions. Although many on the left might genuinely hate him, l just don't buy the overall drama that insiders / Establishment hate him. In my view what's going on in politics these days is a lot like pro wrestling.

But I don't want to belabor the point... I just hope everyone votes their conscience. :dunno:

More that that. Freedom of speech means the people in that audience have every right to tell Trump to fuck off. What idiots like Mike see as a violation of free speech is actually the opposite.

I suppose they'd like their jackboots to force everyone to listen. That's what Trumpsters call free speech.

They have no clue what free speech is, what a free market is or really what freedom is in general.

Or they do and recognize it as their enemy.
People with a genuine interest in ‘free speech’ and extending it tend to listen quietly, they seek objective opinions and look forward to discourse.

Yes, I will defend your right to say it ,as in I will not allow the Govt to stop you.

That does not mean I have to sit there and deny myself my own freedom of speech.

Are you really this fucking stupid?

I have considered every aspect of his life and words and why I didnt vote for him in 16 and 20,,

but the dems have clearly left on rational thought behind and are on full scorched earth mode on everything, helping trump get elected and the left losing whats left of their brains can only be considered a win win,,

Nope. Freedom of speech is about government suppressing speech. I know you don't understand.

For sake of clarity, it is correctly written or stated the right to freedom of speech.

  • Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Really? Being openly hostile to someone who has different views has "nothing to do with free speech"? I think you are confused.
Correct. For example, you could not claim that me pointing out that you’re wrong about free speech on this board is a violation of your free speech, even if I were considerably ruder to you about it than I am being.

Nobody claimed that Trump didn’t have the right to say whatever he said at the convention, and nobody forcibly stopped him from speaking.

some people confuse "contesting their speech" with "they arent allowed to say it",,

its a fine line and easy to miss,,

its not about trump,, its about libertarians not being libertarians,,
It is not a libertarian principle to not disagree with politicians who are saying things you disagree with. In fact, it’s more likely a libertarian principle to be disagreeable to politicians under any circumstance, frankly.

:113:

I think the ''why'' of it all is where our ''conservative'' friends tend to get lost in it all...

the LP has gotten a lot worse than just disagreeing,,

my hopes are the Mises caucus can gain a stronger foot hold and run the closet progressives off,,
