No, you tell me how it's different in Hebrew. See you never, because it isn't. Yahweh is the same vain, Craven, immoral, unethical, cruel God in Hebrew as he is in any other language.Read it in Hebrew, then get back to me.

Right here, Buddy-Boy. G-d set the standards, we're the ones who want to change them to suit us, rather than abide by His.
Do you believe the Bible was written to give an account of a vain, craven, immoral, unethical, cruel God?No, you tell me how it's different in Hebrew. See you never, because it isn't. Yahweh is the same vain, Craven, immoral, unethical, cruel God in Hebrew as he is in any other language.
Those aren't innate things, you have to learn them.Would that explain your preference for fairness, justice and goodness?
But if god created everything, why make the condition for satan to arise and then have to toss him out?Satan was Lucifer, one of the highest Archangels and charged with covering the throne of G-d. Lucifer became so filled with pride that he thought he could overthrow G-d. So the LORD threw Satan and all of the angels that chose to follow him out of heaven. Satan is mankind's enemy. And Christ's death and resurrection sealed Satan's fate.
Why does Jewish opinion through the years have the final say about a Christian Messiah?I studied rabbinical commentary starting with rabbis as far back as possible.
Was it Jesus you were describing when you said, "a vain, craven, immoral, unethical, cruel God...."?Why does Jewish opinion through the years have the final say about a Christian Messiah?
That was someone else, lol.Was it Jesus you were describing when you said, "a vain, craven, immoral, unethical, cruel God...."?
Except everyone is the same way. It would be unnatural to celebrate unfairness, injustice and evil. Those aren't innate things, you have to learn them.
What Christian Messiah? Israel had a Messiah. Only Israel. Why does Jewish opinion through the years have the final say about a Christian Messiah?
Ah. Then the answer to your question is that the messiah Jews are expecting is a national leader, like King David was. His leadership of the Jewish nation is predicted to inspire many other nations. That was someone else, lol.
Do you believe the Bible was written to give an account of a vain, craven, immoral, unethical, cruel God?
Yeah OKIn the Hebrew, haSatan, meaning tester (like a prosecuting attorney).
Lots of people celebrate evil... Some people are just bad to the bone from birth. Some are born as very gentle children, some are halfway, so there's not a universal thing here.Except everyone is the same way. It would be unnatural to celebrate unfairness, injustice and evil.
So apparently they are innate.
I guess you never heard of Jesus. Now you know, lol. What Christian Messiah? Israel had a Messiah. Only Israel.
Didn't the Jews help turn Jesus in to the Romans? And my question was, who cares what Jews thought of a Christian Messiah?Ah. Then the answer to your question is that the messiah Jews are expecting is a national leader, like King David was. His leadership of the Jewish nation is predicted to inspire many other nations.
At the time of Jesus, expectation of the Messiah was high because the prophecy connected the Messiah with the rebuilding of the Temple. When the Temple that was rebuilt was destroyed a few decades after Jesus was killed, some were of the mind Jesus was the Messiah in the prophecy, but he was a spiritual Messiah. Others noted that the Temple wasn't being rebuilt, it was being remodeled, and that the promised Messiah will be connected with the Temple being completely rebuilt.
The final point is that "messiah" means anointed by God for a particular task. Jesus said he was anointed by God to proclaim the forgiveness of sins. There well could be a leader of Israel that meets the Hebrew Scripture prophecy. Or, as some Christians believe, scripture meant only one Messiah, and Jesus is it.
No one celebrates evil. Do you celebrate evil? Or are you just not able to abandon your preference for good even when you don't do good?Lots of people celebrate evil... Some people are just bad to the bone from birth. Some are born as very gentle children, some are halfway, so there's not a universal thing here.
I believe his point is that Jesus is a Jew.I guess you never heard of Jesus. Now you know, lol.
Biker gangs for example will celebrate something that we call murder, but to them it's all a big joke.No one celebrates evil. Do you celebrate evil? Or are you just not able to abandon your preference for good even when you don't do good?
