Don't be stupid. Sex is the genitals you are born with. Gender is far more complicated. This is about primates. Has nothing to do with the Bible.

I just like to point out your lack of belief in the true God. People are free to choose to be an aberration in God's order but the only true Genders are male and female , per God.

Gender has been falsely made more complicated by people seeking to balkanize others and make everyone part of the pity pole.

Gender just used to refer to the differences in some languages between male and female words and inflections, that's it.

Gender has always been the same as sex, which is the same as gender, despite the Orwellian attempt to define it as something else.

It's not at all.

These issues are becoming more and more common - just like all other mental health issues. The inherent problem is their distance from God.

I'm easily confused then......
The etymology of the two words clears up any confusion. Gender was a from or a form of genre. Originally gender--like genre still does--sorts, separates by kind or class, meaning a class/kind of persons or things sharing certain traits.

It wasn't until the 20th century that gender began being used in association with male and female--and it started with 'gender' being used in an erotic, sometimes sexually playful way. (Perhaps a more recent 20th century example is "gender bender" defined as a person who defies or challenges traditional notions of gender, especially with respect to dress or behavior.) However, I haven't heard that the current transgender people are adopting that term.

Meanwhile 'sex' was always divided by male or female.
