Did you know that republicans fund a think tank aimed at destroying them?

It always gets me how the republican party does shit that ends up hurting them. Consider the fact that a lot of republicans enact legislation that fund college research. Most of these people are way commie liberal and basically tell their students don't vote republican in your lifetime. They get a degree and become republican hating assholes and campaign against them. Now if I were a republican who held office somewhere I might begin to think that it may not be a good idea to fund these institutions if my party is going to have a strong voter base in my state. It just seems like suicide for them to fund these places at all. It is like buying the ammo for the guy who wants to shoot you.
