Did the TEA Party get President Obama Re-elected?

The message is clear. Reagan, who raised taxes three times and cozied up to Gorby and raised the deficit 16 times, would be to liberal for the flacks on the far right today.

Don't need the crazees on the far right. Buh bye.

Moderate Conservatism is the mirror image of Moderate Liberalism.

Compromising with socialist policies is the problem, not the solution.

The fact that the left fears the Tea Party should rally support for its message.

But like Sarah Palin, the Tea Party has been successfully demonized by the main stream media.

Sarah Palin, successfully demonized Sarah Palin. She is a living breathing hypocrite, who happens to be an idiot. She gave the press more ammo than they could possibly hope to have. Eventually they just trained the camera and let her kill herself. IMO

Mitt Romney sunk Mitt Romney. When you do the math and figure out that you are the 47% Mitt is talking about. It kind of pisses you off. I work two of the three jobs in the family and send my kid to college. Yet he claims I view myself as the victim. He can fuck off. I know he isn't looking out for me.

Look it is real simple. We have reached critical mass. There are more people who feel that the government will give them more of a fair shake than the private sector upper class. People vote their intrests, and the republican view is not in the majority of the peopls intrests.

It seems to me that if Mitt Romney had not been forced to pander to the TEA party in order to get the nomination, he could have presented himself consistently as a moderate conservative.

Instead he appeared to be a flip-flopping B.S. artist which made many Americans feel that they did not know what type of President he would really be. This uncertainty surely caused an awful lot of 'undecideds' to vote for President Obama.

So it seems that the single most important goal of the TEA Party - to prevent the President from getting re-elected - was undermined by themselves!

The irony is incredible!

This is exactly what happened

Actually, your reasoning is incredible. Despite all the invented racist BS, the Tea Party was almost entirely focused on budgetary reform. Romney's biggest gaffe was to pander to the xenophobic "social conservatives" on illegal immigrants, suggesting that they "self-deport." The real irony is that conservative Rick Perry had the most reasonable position on this issue.

Stop it already. Just stop with the lies. You know damn well the tea party would not have ever came along 2 minutes after Obama was sworn in if he was not Black. Give that up. No one believes it.

jwoodie is talking nonsense. We the responsible part of the GOP, as made clear by Jindall and others, need the women and the minorities more than we need the wack loonies on the far right. The loonies are on notice: change.

I dont think they are hearing you. Loud mouth limbaugh has hit the bottom and picked up A SHOVEL

Yep, that will work, right up to the point that the contributors decide they've had enough and decide to starve the beast. Government doesn't create the wealth they redistribute, they take it form other citizens. I, as one of those citizens have retired and they can steal from someone else.

In order for the GOP to compete for minority votes, it must out-pander the democrats which would only add to the problem rather than solve it...Besides, nobody can out-pander democrats!

The only way to reboot the American Dream is for White voters to unite its majority advantage into a voting block to make national interest the American priority as it once was.

At present they still outnumber all minority voters combined, whose votes will always be based on personal interest according to which political party is promising the most "free stuff".

ie, The only people who can save America are the people who created and built America.....So what are the odds of White America uniting as they did in 1776.....Slim to none it appears?!

I think it's safe to say that we are witnessing the beginning of the end of the United States and in a hundred years it will look like a third world hybrid of Mexico and Somalia on steroids.

The Marxist/Progressives can never see where their socialist policies invariably lead and that's why their promised Utopias are never realized and many millions of people suffer and even die.

Tell me, how many times have you been to a tea party event. I would bet zero, so your basically talking out your ass. Don't dare to call anyone racist unless you have personally witnessed it. Then you can only speak of that individual. Of course because of people like you the racist lable no longer really means anything.

The crazy right killed Mitt's chances, nobody else, period.

We don't need the far right anymore. Jindall is right.

And there it is... It can't just be that Mitt was the horrible candidate, nope! It's gotta be all them damn conservatives that don't like a guy who supports every single Obama policy.... then doesn't support it, then supports some version of it.... then.... THEN!!!!

Mitt’s issue was he had a shit record. Mitt’s issue was that he lied… Mitt’s issue is that he is a Progressive and even said so himself. Mitt’s issue is that for the most part no one wanted him but he forced his way into the nomination with money and the RNC backing.

Face it jake, there was a bigger “anyone but Mitt Romney” vote out there than a “anyone but Obama” vote. You guys banked that anyone, even one of the most disliked candidates of all time Mitt fucking Romnney could beat Obama… and welp, you wasted your vote on him and helped re-elect Obama. Thanks you fucking chitbag.

Not really ever candidate has to move to the far right or far left of their party to get the nomination Obama had to in 2008 Romney had to in 2012 the difference is Obama did a better job of moving back to the center in 08 than Romney did this year that and the fact Obama just did a better job of getting the vote out on his side is what won him the election.

It helped, for sure.

I would encourage the Republican party to continue to associate with racists.

Are you ready to meet immigrant and women's needs?

Are you ready to admit white males consist of only 32% of the electorate?

Are you ready to give up the hate?

No the GOP elite did with it's selection of a mirror image of obama.

Women disagree with you 55 to 45.

Single women disagree with you 66 to 34.

Minorities think you are crazy.

White males make up 32% of the electorate.

We are not going back to 1950s.

The only way to reboot the American Dream is for White voters to unite its majority advantage into a voting block to make national interest the American priority as it once was.
