Your mistake is in thinking that the holiday is for blacks..and not for all Americans. The ending of slavery was a victory for everyone..and should be commemorated.

There are many people from many nations. That is Two major holidays just for one. Every nation deserves a major holiday at least. These things start and they do not end. Taking tens of billions of dollars from the economy. Changing the cover of teh book to make it look so good does not change the fact that what is inside is not getting with the program.
