There was no Soviet Union during World War I and Nazi Germany slaughter of the Jewish Population happened during the 1930’s and 1940’s with death camps which tell you the slaughter was over a decade after World War I but went on through World War II.

Stalin Soviet Union was known for genocide of others like the Ukrainian population along with others in Poland!
