Zone1 Did Adam Have Nipples?

I'm one of those who doesn't agree with the literal interpretation of Adam & Eve.
But I could be wrong.
Who knows? :dunno:

I'm just curious then, what exactly do you believe?

If you criticize a Christian for
Elephants and Rhinos can’t breed

If man was made in Gods image, God would have reproductive organs
Then you already have your answer.

I'm not so sure, but that's the fun of humans debating the nature of God.

Why would God have reproductive organs unless there was a Mrs God?

Well, that's an great question.
I'm not sure.
I'm not a Darwin fan, so I think a lot of evolution is nonsense.
But ... well ... I'm not being evasive ... I just don't know.
Maybe Adam & Eve were the Real Deal ... :dunno:
That whole question is a total mystery to me.

Whenever I want something good to laugh at, I read what people who believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible have to say about things.

I believe that Adam had nipples and a belly button also.

I get that he was never in a woman's womb attached to an unbilical cord that would have left behind a belly button. But I believe that God created Adam as a complete human, with the appearance of an adult male, aka a man. So he would not have been bald, waiting for hair to grow, and he would not have been flabby or weak from never having exercised. He was apparently able to speak immediately, with no need for parents to teach him whatever language he spoke.

He probably was hungry, but then he was blessed to be created in a garden, so . . .

I don't know why God decided for male mammals, including humans, to have nipples. I think I read somewhere that there are scent glands that would have been detectable by females.
Point to ponder. Adam and Eve had Cain, Abel, Seth and other sons and daughters. If that is the case, did A&E's male children have sex with Eve? Or with their sisters? Hmmmm.

Yeah, that is a good question. 🤔

My theory about that is based on the story of human creation told in Genesis.

Told twice.

The first story says that "Male and female created he them, and called them 'mankind.'"

The other story says that God created Adam, put him in a garden, and then let him be alone for a while. Then he took a rib (having used anethesia of some kind), took a rib and created Eve.

I believe those are two separate stories about two separate events. He created "mankind" and let them multiply, and then he created Adam and Eve. Maybe they were the first humans with souls, maybe they were the first proto-Jews, but they are clearly special and separate from the "mankind" that existed in unknown numbers.

So when Cain slew Abel, and was banished, there were people from whom God protected Cain by putting a mark on him so that those people would not slay him.

As far as I know there is no indication that Cain and Abel were the only children of Adam and Eve. They lived for almost a thousand years. So even if they did have to act like they were from Alabama, they would have had plenty of sisters available.

God the Father is Spirit. Man's spirit is in the image of God's spirit. The spirit has no sexual organs.

God = Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God the Son took on flesh and lived as a Man. He was a complete, anatomical man. He became an example to mankind in that he overcame temptation and sin. In order to do that, He had to experience all the same temptations that mortal men face. We're weak and cave to temptation as a matter of routine (some more so than others). Jesus Christ did not.

Whether or not Adam was formed to physically appear as his descendants will never be known since these matters aren't discussed in the Bible. It's folly to speculate.

My first theory is that all of the answers we seek about the nature of God will be answered when we get to Heaven.

But my second theory is that none of these questions will mean a thing once we get to Heaven.

I hope there is work, and device, and knowledge, and wisdom in Heaven. But Ecclesiastes tells us none of those are in the Grave, wither I goeth, so I guess that I will not find them in Heaven.

But, I won't mind, for those are Earthly pursuits, and I will leave all of them behind.

Anyway, when God created Man "in his own image" he clearly identified as Man.

Any woken liberal should understand that, right?

Genitals don't matter, so why is rightwinger dwelling on them?
