Dick is dead.

It must really gall you that I have my own reasons for not mourning Cheney that do not align with yours.

Must be the reason for all the deflection I guess. 😐

Naw, it doesn't bother me, it just shows me how much you are drinking the bleach.

It's sad when a once great political party has subjected itself to the petty ego of one man.

You guys now hate everyone you used to support. Bush, Cheney, McCain, Romney.

Family values types are defending a guy who cheated on his wife with a porn star.

National Security Types are all acting like a bunch of hippies because Trump didn't have any wars break out in his first term (not for lack of trying).

Law and Order types are defending a guy who was convicted of 34 felonies.

Libertarians are defending Concentration Camps.

Fiscal Conservatives are defending out of control spending and a tax on the working class (tariffs).

But, hey let's not hate on Cheney for all the people he got killed, let's hate on him because he hurt Cheeto Hitler's feelings by endorsing Harris.

Cheney was thoroughly rehabilitated by the Far Left over the past few years, after he decided to renounce the idea of making America great again.

It will be interesting to see libs on CNN and MSLSD mourning after so many years of being condemned as the personification of evil.

Will they show the requiems on TV, so we can see Obama , Crazy Bernie, Cortez and Crockett saluting their hero's demise and giving eulogies?
I was shocked that he actually voted for the DEI idiot.

Many people believe he ruined the conservative brand. He's far from alone.

RIP

That hypocritical lib never misses a chance to dump on Jews. At the same time, he screams “racist!!” at everyone who is opposed to hiring decisions based on race.

Actually, I was corrected by a guy who is really anti-Semitic, EMH.

But the point went over some people's heads.

Your religion is not a race. I have every right to judge you by what you believe and what you do.

MAGA doesn't seem to be too upset.

Our nation is one of different eras. Cheney was representative of the post WW 2 era which was struggling to end and became corrupted. New rules that were added on top of old rules that basically led us in the same direction. The election of Obama sped things up perhaps too much to move out of the old ways. The legislation of the 1960's precipitously moved us and set out future. We put ourselves into wildly global defense treaty organizations. We are still in them and have expanded them foolishly in that an attack on a nation thousands of miles away is an attack on us in a nuclearized world. As usual, the citizens of a nation loses when acts of aggression from foreigners are initiated. As like 9/11. And we lost rights. Unalienable God giving rights that the Republican Party was a major player in removing and always seemed to promote more than the Democratic Party. We saw12 years of a vast movement to the left of left with Obama and Joe. And Cheney approved of the Progs with his disdain for Trump. That means there is something else going on with major politicians. Something sinister. If Trump is in that same camp, we are done. If Trump is not there is a beacon of hope. And to the many Americans influenced by the architects of fear as the Progressive voters are, there is no coming ack once you hit a certain point in extreme political movements.

In the "Bush League", the administration that led the U.S. into the worst disaster it has ever inflicted on itself, Cheney was in the forefront. As such, he justifiably bears great blame. Yet, all the collaborators who served this vile treason, all the Congress people who voted for it, knowing it was not only illegal but against America's interests, also bear the blame. The tragedy of the situation is worsened by the willful forgetfulness of the public and, particularly, voters, who reward these miscreants with re-election.

Our we sure Dick is dead? Maybe he just needs a Viagra?

Brings back memories when all of these Dick Cheney haters had no problem with Donald Trump and more recently when these Dick Cheney Haters were rallying behind his daughter, Liz, for going after Trump. Anyone at home keeping score?

I for one am grateful to Dick Cheney for rebuilding a much-needed intelligence infrastructure that had been decimated by Bill Clinton’s handlers. RIP.
What?

Attorneys for I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby attacked plans by prosecutors in the CIA leak case to submit a New York Times op-ed containing handwritten notes by Vice President Dick Cheney.

In a court filing late Friday night, Libby’s lawyers argued that their client testified before the grand jury that he did not see this document until it was shown to him by the FBI in November 2003.

The op-ed article by former Ambassador Joseph Wilson, which was published July 6, 2003, argued that the Bush administration “twisted” intelligence “to exaggerate the Iraqi threat” in the run-up to a U.S.-led invasion.

Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald has argued in court filings, that the Cheney’s notes on the op-ed article expressed the concern he had about assertions made by Wilson, which concluded that the Bush administration somehow, “twisted” some intelligence about Iraq’s nuclear weapons program.

Those concerns about the merits of Wilson’s findings, after his trip to Niger, included the notation by the Vice President questioning whether Wilson’s wife had “sent him on a junket.”

Fitzgerald has argued that the op-ed triggered a campaign in the White House to discredit Wilson’s finding which included outing Wilson’s wife, a classified CIA agent, to reporters.

The only interesting news about his heart transplant was that it finally answered the question of whether or not he had one.
